The Belknap Mill, pronounced bel-nap, is the oldest unaltered brick textile mill in the United States. Visitors can tour the mill and visit the knitting museum. Today the facility is used both as a year-round cultural and arts center and the official meeting house of New Hampshire.

This attraction allows visitors to glimpse how the Shakers lived 200 years ago. Archeological remains of the original town can be seen here as well, and there is a museum shop with traditional Shaker reproduction furniture, books and other crafts.
