Winslow State Park is situated about 15 miles west of Franklin, NH. Visitors will appreciate the expansive views of the surrounding area from the picnic area; there is also a one-mile foot path that leads to the summit of Mount Kearsarge.

Gardner Memorial Wayside Park is located about 15 miles west of Franklin, NH. This park is open year-round, however there is no winter maintenance and is unstaffed during the cooler months. This park is part of the 6,675-acre Gile State Forest.
